hello! i’m ava hollins, a nonbinary young adult writer.

and rather than a “what,” kumani is a “who,” a name from the zulu language meaning “to be kind hearted.” it’s also my middle name and one i closely identify with. ☺︎

i’ve written in many different genres, such as fiction, short story, and historical fiction, but poetry is my go-to.

i adore cats, cute things, pokémon, and one of my goals in life is to own one someday, along with publishing my writing and having others read it.
